Master Sushi Chef Chung Young Ko relocated to Halifax to pursue a dream of owning his own Japanese restaurant and sharing his art and food with the good people of Halifax. James, as he is known here, has been a sushi chef for over 28 years, first practicing in Korea, then Toronto, and now here in Halifax where he calls home.

Head Chef In Suk Lee brings a wealth of experience to the kitchen at Minato Sushi. She’s been cooking up a storm for over 17 years now, specializing in Japanese & Korean cuisine.
